How to design the sequence of the gene to be modified with crispr cas9? What are the steps from choosing the gene to preparing it for order?

I have observed others using snap gene, I am not confident in navigating through it.

NCBI or other platform are used to find functional region in gene(exon).and for that specific region you will design sgRNA.

Here, DNA sequencing helps you identify your target(s) genes. After which you design your guide dsRNA molecule.
