She is an Executive Editor at Bio-protocol (2013 - to date). Previously, she was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Genetics at Stanford University and the Carnegie Institution for Science at Stanford (2009 - 2012). Her research background is in molecular microbiology, host-microbe interactions, plant physiology, Caenorhabditis elegans genetics.
